Harvey Weinsten is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday in New York for rape and criminal act charges.
The hearing in Manhattan comes subsequently a grand jury indicted the former movie mogul earlier this week on charges pertaining two women.
One of alleged victim who has not been identified publicly, told investigators that Weinsten trapped her in a hotel room and sexually assaulted her. The other accuser Lucia Evans, a former actress has filed a case against Weinsten for forcing her to perform sexual activity at his office in 2004.
Umpteen women have accused Weinsten of sexual misconduct ranging from harassment to assault though the 66-year-old Weinsten denied all the nonconsensual sex allegations. His attorney, has challenged the credibility of his alleged victims and says his client is assured that he is going to clear his name.
Brafman called the rape allegation "absurd," saying that the accuser and Weinstein had a decadelong, consensual sexual relationship that continued after the alleged 2013 attack.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. has said it was predictable that Weinstein's camp would attack the integrity of the women and of the legal system.
